Suyashi holds an M.Phil degree in Linguistics from Jadavpur University, West Bengal. She has completed her post-graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and graduation from the University of Delhi. She has worked as a Resource Person under Ministry of Human Resource and Development-initiated Scheme of Protection and Preservation of Endangered Languages (SPPEL), documenting the language and culture of one of the endangered communities of the Nicobar Islands called the Chaura community. She has also worked as Phonetic Translator for a US-based multinational company. Other than having a profound interest in studying languages and communities, she also has an ardent passion for writing. She has been working as a content writer for the last 6 years and has taken up numerous freelance writing projects.
