Mirinchonme is a doctorate in Science Policy from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. His PhD thesis focused on ‘Technology, Policy and Behavioural Practices of Urban Solid Waste Management: A Study of Delhi and Imphal’. Mirin has taught the ‘Environmental Studies’ course in Shyama Prasad Mookerjee College, University of Delhi. He was a Research Assistant at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). He also possesses professional experience of being a Research Associate at the prestigious global Environmental Justice Organizations, Liabilities and Trade (EJOLT) project, which was sponsored by the United Nations. Mirin has published several articles in both national and international journals in the fields of solid waste management, forest conservation, shifting cultivation, and natural resource management. Passionate about the topics of climate change, sustainable development etc., he has presented academic papers at national as well as international conferences.
