The Circle for Assessing Policy through Engagement (CAPE) is an initiative by CFPS to provide a platform for young minds driven by a zeal for bringing about positive change in society. This initiative will involve students in first-hand policy-making, research and analysis.
Once you’re a part of the CAPE initiative, you will be working with a dynamic and diverse group of individuals on a wide array of policy issues. CAPE will give students an opportunity to do on-ground policy research-related surveys, to engage with domain experts and provide exposure to a knowledgeable/scholarly work atmosphere.
It is a getaway for students to engage in comprehensive policy work at the grassroots level. The fieldwork, in a plausible way, will help influence policy decisions along with gaining skills and contacts to advance your future career, while doing fulfilling work.
CAPE will also teach you to write articles and academic research papers and hone your public speaking skills.
Students selected under CAPE will be issued certificates at the end of one-year of completed service in accordance with the quantum and quality of work they do (while applicants who are in their final year need not contribute for one complete year).
The selected candidates will have to undertake grassroots surveys and conduct research on socio-political and public policy issues. The work will offer you diverse experiences, which would be intellectually rewarding. Also, working with us will provide you with opportunities to experience socio-political and economic ground realities of the policy-making first-hand.
- The candidate should be pursuing a UG/PG/doctoral course from a recognised university/college.
- Must be passionate about public policy and foreign policy research.
- Should be open to travelling within Delhi.
Please Note: Students from all courses and years are eligible to apply.
